
The Dozy Mmobuosi foundation in partnership with Rt Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila provides free Prostate cancer screening for Surulere constituents facilitated by Hon. Desmond Olusola Elliott member Lagos State House of Assembly, Surulere Constituency 1, and powered by DOE YOUTHLAND, yesterday was the turn of ward F1.
The Dozy Mmobuosi launches free prostrate cancer screening in Lagos, which aim is to see that prostrate cancer rates in men decreases.

The founder regretted that millions of Nigerian men do not have resources to get treatment for the disease stressing that the programme was aimed at reaching as many Nigerians as possible irrespective of where they live.
“Early detection is one of the best tools we have to prevent prostate cancer. Through the rollout of these buses, I hope to see prostate cancer rates in men decrease, and I urge all men, specifically those aged 45 and over, to go for a free prostate cancer screening on these state-of-the-art buses.

Hon. Desmond Elliott member Lagos State House of Assembly, Surulere Constituency 1 and the DG YOUTHLAND Hon. Leye Atoyebi implore the people of Surulere federal Constituency to grab this opportunity as the free test will go round every ward of the Constituency.



The mobile project is designed specifically to reach as many people as possible across the country regardless of their geography. From cities to rural villages, the programme aims to encourage as many men as possible to step forward and test for the disease, turning the tide on decades of premature deaths”, he said.
The Coordinator, Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation Mobile Prostate Cancer Screening Service, Dr. Segun Sanni, said the project would enable the less privileged and people in remote communities across Nigeria to have access to free prostate cancer screening, adding that the first phase of the screening would start in Lagos.
The Councillors in Surulere Constituency 1 ably led by the Council Leader Barr. Barakat Akande, Party Chieftain, Members of CDA, Artisans and other members of the community were in attendance
