Ramadan Lecture in Honour of Late Prince Ademola Adeniji-Adele 5th year Remembrance held at Lagos City Center, Tuesday 11th May 2021.

Guest Lecturer: Fadilat Sheikh Abdulkabir Olawale Paramole PhD FICA, Associate Professor of Islamic Studies Lagos State University (LASU), Topic: Islam and Humanity after Death he did a justice to the topic.

Special Prayer was done by Fadilat Sheikh Abdulkabiru Oladimeji Founder Chief Missioner ALIMUF, a prayer for Late Prince Ademola Adeniji-Adele and prayer for the nation.

Prince Ademola Adeniji-Adele fondly called Papa, is a prince of Lagos the son of Musendiku Buraimoh Adeniji-Adele, the 20th Oba of Lagos, the deceased also had his days as an activist. He was in the forefront of the battle against the military junta of Sani Abacha, former Nigerian dictator.

Adeniji-Adele, who began his political career as a councilor in Lagos Island local government and later became chairman of the same local government, was incarcerated during the struggle for the restoration of the mandate of the late MKO Abiola.

In 2007, the Babatunde Fashola administration appointed him commissioner for youth, sports, and social development, he was very prominent in the politics and Sports administration in the state. A pro-democracy campaigner, and he was to be retained during Fashola’s second term, but he rejected it on health grounds.

The event witnessed the presence of Important personalities in Lagos and Nigeria at large, some of Dignatries present are: Hon. Hakeem Masha, Prince Ifalade Oyekan, Prince Kunle Oduah, Prince Fuad Oloto, Hon. Salawe, members of Adeniji-Adele family, friends, among others.
