Pepc foundation Distributes 2000 Food Packs to mothers, widows, others in Ikorodu ~Ajasa-Info

Pepc foundation has reached out to 2000 mothers, widows and single mothers in a programme tagged love beyond Christmas held at Ita-elewa youth center Ikorodu on the 24th November, 2022.

Barrister Lukman a native of Ikorodu, the founder of Pepc foundation expressed his gratitude to everyone present and said the events was held to reach out to the community and put smiles on people’s faces.

“I feel really great to be consistent, it is a very big challenge for me to continue improving myself every year, this year is an amazing year in as much as inflation and the difficulties with the economy ,I was able to pull this much crowd and touch more lives, I am happy about it and I hope next year I will be able to do more.” He said.

“This year we started with distribution of food packs, January all the way to March, we did back to school for kids where we gave writing equipment and school bags to 5000 students. Before then we held a program where we celebrated the Muslims by distributing cooked foods for over 14,000 people in Lagos and this is a wrap up for the year, for the single mothers, elderly, widows and physically challenged.

“We have been able to cover Epe, today Ikorodu, we are going to Ibeju lekki next and all the way to lekki free trade zone, dangote refinery area, then Eti osa to wrap up the year. It’s a big honour to be awarded the young person of the year by Lagos youth Awards and I asked the organiser do I really deserve this but they showed me the statistics and I was happy the people love me and what I am doing and I am happy to be doing this” said Barrister lukman.

One of the volunteers, Bisola Marti said “It is December, it is the season of love, and we are happy that everyone here is happy, that is the intention, we want everyone to leave here with a smile on their face, it’s Christmas season and Pepc foundation is the Santa right now and everyone is happy”.

Mr Marti olatunji Raheem another volunteer said , “The theme says love beyond Christmas , so we are trying to give back to the community, we have given to Epe, now this is Ikorodu, we are going to Ibeju lekki and we will still do others. Right now we are trying to give out to the elders , widows and single mothers . We are not only trying to give it out because it is Christmas but to show what pepc foundation stands for”.

Miss olamilekan Aminat one of the beneficiary’s said she is grateful to pepci for the gift they gave and she said that she would have loved to support the foundation if she was buoyant enough as these benefits students, women and widows.

Another beneficiary, Mrs Hassan Bukola appreciate Pepc saying it is one of the good things and that she has never experienced such in Ikorodu before that this is her first time “Pepc foundation is superb and I love it”.

Games like “Ayo”, ludo, draft and dancing competitions was also hosted with winners awarded at the event.

1800 CHILDREN BENEFITS FROM THE BACK TO SCHOOL PROJECT OF PEPC FOUNDATION IN IKORODU DIVISION ~Ajasa-Info

A non-profit organization, PEPC Foundation distributes 1800 school materials to students in Ikorodu Division (Ikorodu Central, Ikorodu North, and Ijede LCDA) ahead of their September resumption.

The group’s founder, Barr. Luqman Akinsanya, in his remarks, “this year’s edition of the annual Back-To-School project has been target no fewer than 5000 students who will be presented with the special packs comprising of needed school items, in Ikorodu today we’ve distributed 1700 children, Ikorodu Central, Ikorodu North and Ijede LCDA.”

“Other location of where the exercise took place is Ibeju Lekki and Alimosho areas of the state.”

“The exercise was held on Tuesday in Ibeju Lekki, and the following day, on Wednesday, the train moves to Ita Elewa Youth Centre, Ikorodu, while the distribution for Alimosho will also be held in the week.” He added.

A non-profit organization, PEPC Foundation set to distribute 5000 school materials to students in Lagos ahead of their September resumption.

The group’s founder, Barr. Luqman Akinsanya, made this known in an announcement video recently shared on social media.

According to him, this year’s edition of the annual Back-To-School project will target no fewer than 5000 students who will be presented with the special packs comprising of needed school items.

The distribution will take place in the Ikorodu, Ibeju Lekki and Alimosho areas of the state.

The exercise will be held on Tuesday in Ibeju Lekki, and the following day, on Wednesday, the train moves to Ita Elewa Youth Centre, Ikorodu, while the distribution for Alimosho will also be held in the week.
