The Chairman, Senate Committee on Industries, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA has congratulated Chief (Dr) Oluyomi Abayomi Finnih on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
In a birthday congratulatory letter addressed to Chief Finnih, the Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District in the National Assembly extolled the Octogenarian as an accomplished medical consultant and political icon who has contributed immensely to the development of Lagos State.
Senator Tokunbo noted that Chief Dr. Finnih brought excellence to bear when he served in the Lagos State Ministry of Health for many years before venturing into private practice.

Sir, as you mark a milestone of 80 today, I pray that Almighty God continues to give you long life in good health and sound mind. In the same vein, Senator Abiru also celebrated Chief (Mrs) Kemi Nelson, The Yeye Sewa of Lagos on the occasion of her 66th birthday.
The Senator celebrated Chief Nelson as an astute public administrator, a strong grassroot political figure, who has become a role model to many especially women in politics.

You played your part in the public space with grace, dignity and nobility. Your wonderful contribution to the liberation of women will always be a point of reference.
“All through your public service stint, you sustained your pedigree as a thorough-bred professional in the manner you have conducted your affairs”, Senator Abiru eulogized Nelson on her birthday.
