Poorly managed waste is contaminating the world’s oceans, clogging drains and causing flooding, transmitting diseases, increasing respiratory problems from burning, harming animals that consume waste unknowingly, and affecting economic development.

We have been closing the gap of proper waste management. waste management is everyone’s business. Ensuring effective and proper waste management is critical to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, Green Janitors have been helping to solve this gap through our projects Pick the Plastic, Beyond Recycling, Campus Recycling Champions, Youth4Nature.

“While I was leaving home, I thought of it that why do I really need to be here today despite every other things I need to do, I thought of it that it will take relationship for me to be here today.”

In a bid to boost the campaign of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Mr Mobolaji OGUNLENDE has partnered with Sanwo-Olu Empowerment Platform otherwise known as SOEP to organise SME SUPPORT PROGRAM which is aimed at supporting Lagos youth owned SMEs.

Also emphasis on the need to support youth owned smes , he said it is important we know that since COVID-19, some youth are still finding it hard to recover from the loss. Also, there are some that lack the required prerequisite to start and grow a business, it is important we come to their rescue.

Moreso, with the level of unemployment,it is important we empower our youth to make them employers of labor instead of waiting for a job that might never come. As a stakeholder and a strong supporter of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, OGUNLENDE said this is just amongst the several he has done and will still do. In his statement ,”we understand the yearnings of youth and the only language that is understood is SOLUTION.
