The Executive Chairman, IRU-Victoria Island LCDA, Hon. Princess Rasheedat Abiodun Adu inaugurates new council executives; Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Supervisors, Special Advisers and the Chief of Staff yesterday.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman said, “am delighted to have you all here and I welcome you all to this prestigious local council. To call to serve is not just by the nomenclature attached to the position but it entails diligency and selflessness. Hence, I urge you all to take hid of these traits in order to collectively move the LCDA to greater heights, congratulations! to you all”.

Also, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Segun Ogunbiyi and the Council Manager, Mr. Olarenwaju Olalere F. enjoined the newly inaugurated executives to exercise their duties in line with the stipulated law and administrative guidelines.

The SLG, Hon. Murisiku Ajasa appreciated the Chairman for her steadfastness and he assures the Chairman of their maximum support towards the growth of the LCDA.



In the same vein, Hon. Taofeek Afolabi appreciated the Chairman on behalf of the supervisors for her inestimable leadership traits, activeness at her all time. In his words, “The. Chairman is an intelligent leader who never cease to ensure the development and well-being of the community.

The newly inaugurated Executives are; SLG, Hon. Murisiku Ajasa, Supervisors; Hon. Taofeek Afolabi, Hon. Kemi , Hon. Yomi Olubajo, Hon. Segun Ajiboye,Hon. Niyi Oshoba, Hon. Henry Igbokwe, Special Advisers; Hon. Olaifa Olajide, Hon. Bamitale, Hon. Balogun, Hon. Femi Lisboa and the Chief of Staff, Hon. Semiu Gbadamosi.



Personalities present at the event includes; Legislative Arm, Management, IRU/VI APC Apex leader, Chief Olisa, Aro of IRU Kingdom, Baale Igbosere, Baale Falomo, party faithfuls amongst others.

Kuramo Senior College, Victoria Island, honours the Executive Chairman, IRU-Victoria Island LCDA, Hon. Princess Rasheedat Abiodun Adu (I.I.O.N) as the Grand matron and Ambassador of the college Humanity Department yesterday.

During the presentation, the Head of Humanity Department, Kuramo College, Mrs. Ajao Aminat said, “We chose you to be our Grand matron as a result of your constant support towards the development of the school and the students academics. We appreciate all you’ve done and we would love to welcome you anytime any day, thanks very much Ma”

The Chairman appreciated the kind gestures, in her words, “Am delighted to receive this honour from my students, thanks so much. Despite the fact the secondary schools is not in our purview we still extend educational support to the schools, this indicate how our administration place the students Education first and we won’t relent, thank you very much.”

Present during the presentation includes; The Council Management, the Punctuality Prefect of Kuramo College, Bolanle Adeyemi (SS3), Saliu Fatima (SS1) and Obisanya Ashake (SS1).
