Akogun Wale Raji Anomo earlier today fulfilled the promise made to members of staff of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, when he met with them for the first time in August 2021, where he promised to restore the Council’s Electricity by energizing the Transformer. However, members of staff of the LCDA got into a jubilant mood as the Executive Chairman of the LCDA commissioned a Power transformer for the use of the Secretariat.
Speaking at the commissioning exercise, the Chairman reiterated his commitment to position Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA for better productivity and efficiency. He also urged the Council staff to take advantage of the restored electricity to upscale their discharge of duties. The Council Boss thereafter handed over the transformer to the Council Manager and Council Engineer for effective management and optimization.
The Council Sectetariat had been running on generator for the last six years due to the power outage and this has impeded the efficiency and productivity of members of staff which is obviously now a thing of the past as the Council now runs on electricity. The event had in attendance the Vice Chairman, Alhaji Wasiu Dehinsilu; Chief of Staff, Hon. William Drew; Council Manager Barr. Oladipo Shobule; Council Treasurer, Mr. Ezekiel Olusanya; HRO, Mrs. Monsurat Giwa and other Management Staff as well as Council Legislators lead by the Leader of the House Hon. Hassan Mustapha.
