Hon. Bola Adaramola has bagged children as she celebrates her one year in office of being the Councillor of Odogunyan ward E1 Ikorodu North LCDA at odonla town hall on September 1st 2022.

She appreciates everyone present at the event , expresses her gratitude to them for their constant support and mentions that she does not take it for granted and she expresses her utmost concern and interest for the children.
“Being the councilor, I have tried to give back to the community by facilitating over 30 medical and hoc staff for polio vaccine for children at various time, facilitated the grading of roads such as aliu street, olasoji street unity street , ibironke street, 174 army barrack border, ita oloja and many more”.


“ I will be facilitating owoife for our petty traders soon, repair the public boreholes and solar lights, empowerment and training for our youths, sponsorship of oba ayangburen spelling bee competition and the construction of link bridge from odogunyan to agbede among many others”she said.

Several parent and children expressed their excitement towards the act of kindness showed by Hon. Bola Adaramola . Mrs. Friday one of the parent said I am very excited about this program, and I thank Mrs Bola Adaramola for organizing it and I pray that God bless her.

The speaker of the Voice of Women Affairs Mrs Adetula Samuel appreciated Hon. Bola Adaramola for her support and impores parents to speak up against gender based violence.

Comrade Adeniran Olubanwo the CDC Chairman Ikorodu North, he appreciates Hon. Bola saying that she didn’t mention half of what she has done and that she didn’t even mention the fact that she collected an award from FEDA last year. He however said we all own the Government not only those in power.

IKORODU NORTH LCDA LEGISLATIVE ARM HOLDS PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND BYE-LAWS, AFFIRMS AGBEDE COMMUNITY LINK BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION ~Ajasa-Info

Demonstrating dividends of democracy in an upright pattern to alleviate the needs of residents, the legislative arm of Ikorodu North LCDA on the 8th of February 2022, organised a public hearing to advance solutions to neighbourhood challenges
Aimed at amending existing bye-laws and implementing proposed community projects, the scene played hosts to stakeholders across the local council development area, receiving an overhaul positive reviews.


With hard copies of the charter proposal disseminated amongst stakeholders present for perusing, soliciting their suggestive contribution, Ikorodu North LCDA Council Leader, Hon Ayo Adekoya gave the preliminary address to the stakeholders during the municipal earshot on recommended bye-laws for the region
Extensively highlighted of the bye-law was the proposed construction of link bridge at Agbede community to Odogunyan axis, which will be on Public/ Private partnership drive, with bids from construction firms to construct the bridge
Also stated was that, upon the bridge completion, there would be a toll fee, payable by all motorists.

A decision well ratified by the representative of Agbede and others present, expressing their happiness towards the productive dialogue
Hon Adeniran Adeyemi, the house committee chairman on bye-law in the legislative chamber took time to read some of the proposed bye-laws to the stakeholders present, he requested for organisations, CDA/CDC and individuals with apt input to strengthen the bye-laws with contributions and forward it to the office of the council leader for further legislative deliberations.


The council also seized the forum to introduce a new e-payment format slip allowing residents to properly verify their bills for revenue collection, aiding adequate retrieval and removing deprivation of clarity in the area of expanding government statutes
Olakunle Kukoyi (Council Legal Officer) snatched a short duration amidst the hearing, reiterating consequences to residents on failures to adhere to the council regulatory policies


“This public hearing can also be seen as a form of sensitising residents to stay away from disorderly conduct and obey our laws, for defaulters will face the full wrath, most especially during construction of the link bridge”
“Complying with the rules is essential for every implementation to go according to plan” Mr Kukoyi added
Other proposed bye-laws are law on street naming/house numbering, Bakery, sawmill, Burial permit etc.


Partakers were further bestowed a one-week duration to thoroughly evaluate the recommendations, citing spectrum for sufficient suggestions, to submit supplementary notions to enhance the bye-laws value
Prince Adeniron Ogunbanwo, CDC chairman Ikorodu North LCDA (in attendance) relished the actions of the legislative arm in the council, acknowledging their intent of opening doors to further modifications
“The government cannot do it alone, which means the private partnership is also key, this is why I need to appreciate Bldr Banjo for unlocking gates to developmental coalition in his administration”
Hon Olakanmi Sheriff Tijani, in the closing remark, admired the good people of Ikorodu North LCDA for providing the mandate to serve, extending kudos to the executive Chairman of the LCDA, Bldr Adeola Adebisi Banjo for favouring the legislative arm of the council, he also recognised his honourable colleagues for the job well done on the bye-laws, encouraging Agbede community residents to convey absolute consent for the law during the execution of the link bridge.
