The All Progressives Congress, Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA organised a victory and appreciation party for the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Rep. Babajimi Benson, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun AMA, it was full of merriment yesterday at the Mikson Onas event center, Igbogbo, Ikorodu, Lagos.

Bldr. Olusesan Daini the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA who was the Chairman of the occasion in his remarks “I appreciate the Party Leaders, Party Members, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Olubeshe of Ibeshe, the Council of baales, Local Government excos, Supervisors, Ward Chairmen, and other distinguished guests.”

“I Celebrate my Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, my sellable Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu, my amiable Senator, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru. In the same vein, I greeted my Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson and Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro on a successful election and re-election. I don’t have much to say other than to appreciate you all for your love and support”

He added “I urge you all to remain faithful and dedicated to the party as your selfless labor will not go in vain, Thank you all for your service and commitment to the All Progressives Party (APC).”

The APC Chairman Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA Hon. Taiwo Orenuga in his remarks “I thank you all for believing in the APC, I also appreciate you all for demonstrating that belief by voting again for our hardworking Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to continue serving you through the provision of good governance that our party has been noted for over the years.

He added “I also appreciate our hardworking Chairman Bldr. Olusesan Daini for his continuous support for the party, God bless you.”

The CDC Chairman, CAN Chairman, Chief Imam representative, Iya Oloja all appluads the emergence of all the APC Candidates across board.

To close the campaign for the Governorship and Lagos state House of Assembly campaign, a motorcade rally was organised to support the Re-election of Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Governor of Lagos State and Aro Moshood Abiodun for Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituency 2.

The motorcade rally, which lasted for eight hours, commenced at the Imota roundabout, passing through various communities such as Igbokuta, Gberigbe, Gbodu, Ijede, Igbe communities, Igbogbo-Baiyeku, and the last stop at Ebute ferry terminal.

The campaign was well attended by Nollywood stars like Mr Yinka Qudri and Remi Surutu in attendance. Excitement was all written over the face of the people of the communities, they expressed confidence in re-electing Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and electing Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro, AMA, on Saturday, March 18th, 2023.

Simultaneously the motorcade rally took place in Ikorodu constituency 1 for Ogunleye Gbolahan and Mr. Governor.

The event was graciously led by Rep. Babajimi Benson Member House of Representatives Ikorodu federal constituency, the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, Igbogbo LCDA Chairman, Build. Olusesan Daini, Bldr. Deola Banjo Executive Chairman Ikorodu North LCDA, Imota LCDA Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Agoro, iCare Foundation, AMA Campaign group and thousands of APC supporters.

Ashipa Kaoli Olusanya former Vice Chairman APC Lagos East Senatorial District Inauguated 435 Polling Unit Ambassadors in Ward C4, Ibeshe yesterday 25th of October, to increase numbers of voters in the ward.

In the remarks of Ashipa Kaoli Olusanya “The strategy of our party is that according to our constitution, we have polling unit officers, 10, 10, which has been increased to fifteen, in owode Ibeshe alone, we have 29 polling units, 29 multiply by 15 gives us 435 polling units all together asides from the party Executive Leaders of the ward, What we are inaugurating here today is bringing 15*29 men and women that will be the mobilizers for each of the polling units that is what we have Inaugurated here today and to tell them what are the functions, the roles they play to prepare their minds before elections.”


He added that “Each person has to be a voter in the polling booth of which is name is registered. Each person has to mobilize 20 voters each, I will use myself as an example, I have produced 40 from my own household and I have showed it to them with my PVC, if each and every one of them will do that, 15 *29*20, will give us 8700 votes just for the polling unit officers alone. Aside from the CDA, CDC, the elders and the exco department, so minimally we are expecting about 10,000 votes from Ibese. And when I check from INEC record, the registered votes acquired in Ibese alone is about 30,000, so it not impossible to get just 10,000 from 30,000 registered voters.”

Each of the 15 men has a leader, and they are all here inaugurated here today. Among the leaders are community leaders, CDA leaders, church leaders and chiefs that are leaders in the party. We did not restrict to the party alone, it also includes the non indigene, and all tendency that lives in this area are part of the committee.

“All these is to ensure our candidates Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Rep. Babajimi Benson, Hon. Aro Moshood become victorious at the forthcoming election.”
