As year 2022 gradually going to an end, the Omo Ologo Team; a popular, strong and one of the leading political support group under All Progressive Congress (APC) in Imota Local Council Development Area on Friday 24th of December, 2022 appreciate commitment of all her supporting members and distribute over 300 food items among them to celebrate Christmas with their family during the yuletide season.

The programme which was well attended by many APC members with their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) from different sphere of life with the aim of mobilising people at the grassroot for all the candidates of APC cum 2023 General Elections.

The programme was held at Omo Ologo Secretariat at Owoyele house, located at Itunmaja Street, Imota and the food items were shared across the existing four wards in Imota LCDA.

Speaking to press men, Comrade Adegboyega Folarin, Convener of Omo Ologo Team, he stated that the program is meant to appreciate its followers for their consistent support over the years.

Asserting that the benevolence scheme was self-sponsored by the group, Comrade Folarin disclosed that the program is aimed at connecting with its supporting members, celebrating them, and appreciating their continuous commitment to the growth and progress of the coalition.

He continued, “Today, we gave out over 300 food items to ensure that our members have food on their tables this Christmas Season”.

“We used the PVC as a pass for members to benefit from this course as a measure of checking our preparedness towards the 2023 general elections, which turned out impressive from this end”.

“When it comes to the elections in Imota LCDA, our target is to produce the highest number of voters, to support all our viable candidates”.

“From Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the presidential level, Senator Adetokunbo Abiru for Lagos East Senatorial district, Hon. Babajimi Benson as Member House Of Representatives and Hon. Moshood Aro Moshood for Ikorodu Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, we’re watchful to demonstrate our enormous backing” Comrade Folarin said.

“There are other ways our members benefit from us, which include providing Back2School packages for their children, giving job opportunity slots to members to work at the newly established Imota Rice Mill and many more mediums”.

“Majorly, this program is also an exhibition of love for our neighbours this season, we’re using it to also preach the message of giving to others who are capable to spread the love around their vicinity, that’s what makes the world a better place” He concluded. Comrade Folarin Adegboyega is also the coordinator of the National youth council of Nigeria (NYCN), Imota branch.

Destiny Atakiti, the youth wing south-south coordinator of the group, explained that the procedure assisted south-south members from Delta, Edo, Bayelsa and part of Akwa Ibom state, residing in the region.

“We’re all for APC and our members are willing to labour for the progress of the party, that’s why the group deemed it wise to help every component in this festive season.

“There is strength in numbers and that’s what the Omo Ologo team is made up of, we’re very positive about seeing all our party candidates emerge in victories” Mr Atakiti added
